The Glickman Popkin Bassoon Camp (May 25‑June 4, 2026) showcases three primary guest artists: Kristin Wolfe Jensen, professor of bassoon at UT‑Austin and acclaimed soloist; William Short, Principal Bassoon of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Juilliard faculty member; and Dennis Michel, former second bassoon of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and veteran woodwind educator. Their bios highlight major orchestral positions, solo recordings, teaching appointments, and contributions to bassoon pedagogy. Camp participants receive the GPBC master-class book and must bring Stadio’s Difficult Passages and Solos, with optional original parts.
