Emergency Services Career Expo WEST 2026

The Emergency Services Career Expo (formerly the Security Police Fire Career Expo) is an annual networking, education and job fair designed to help students, industry newcomers and professionals meet companies and agencies relevant to their chosen field and gain advice from established industry mentors.

The 2026 WEST edition will be held on24 October 2026 at BMO Centre at Stampede Park (Palomino A-H)1912 Flores LaDue Parade S.E, Calgary, AB, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What you will learn and experience

• What each of the three fields - security, police and fire - look for when hiring
• How to network and increase your chances of getting hired
• How to make a lasting impression at an interview
• What qualifications and skills hiring managers are looking for
• Participate in mock interviews with hiring leaders in your desired field
• Network with experienced security, law enforcement and fire service professionals
• Hear first-hand advice from leaders in all three fields
• Interact with key leaders from the industry you are interested in

博覧会について

Founded as the Security Career Expo in 2014, the event has grown over the years to include first responders and emergency services and was rebranded Security, Police and Fire Career Expo in 2019. Your all-day expo pass includes access to speakers, networking with exhibitors (potential employers), participation in mock interview exercises, and conversations with industry mentors.

• 午前9時 - 午後3時- Exhibitor floor open (booths ready to discuss open opportunities, how to get hired, and what it takes to be in police, fire or security industries)
• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM- Mock interview practice with HR and department chiefs (sign up on site)
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM- Mock interview practice with HR and department chiefs (sign up on site)
