Gastronomy Fair 2026
The Salon de la Gastronomie at Ainterexpo (Bourg‑en‑Bresse) is a five‑day regional food fair celebrating the 35th edition. It showcases the culinary heritage of the Ain department, with a focus on local specialties such as Poulet de Bresse, Bresse butter and cream, Cerdon wine (gold‑medal winner), and Comté cheese. Six themed restaurants offer tastings of Bresse‑style burgers, traditional dishes, and wine pairings. Exhibitors include artisanal producers, short‑supply‑chain farms, and oenologists presenting regional wines, ciders, and spirits. The event also highlights gastronomic craftsmanship, short‑chain distribution, and regional know‑how, supported by the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat de l'Ain. Admission is €5 (reduced €3), free for children under 17, and the venue provides ample free parking for over 2,000 vehicles.
