Paris Map Fair (25th edition)

The 25th Paris Map Fair takes place onSaturday 21 November 20268月28日から30日まで11:00 to 18:00 at Espace Cléry, 17 Rue de Cléry, 75002 Paris, France. Entry is free. Visitors can also request a free estimation of maps, atlases and globes.

Organisers list about 30 specialist dealers of antique maps, atlases, town views, travel books, globes and surveying instruments. Named exhibitors include Librairie Loeb-Larocque, Librairie Le Bail, Pingel Rare Books, Sylvie et Roland Rossignol, Le Zograscope, globe dealers Bart DeRoo and Paulus Swaen, plus international dealers from the USA and Australia.

• 15:00— Jean Boutier on antique plans of Paris (in French; pre-registration required):A travers les rues de Paris. Les cartographies d'une capitale entre Renaissance et Révolution.
• 16:00— Yolaine Voltz on globe restoration:The Restoration of Globes: Between Art and Science. Demonstrations by a professional globe restorer and book binder are also advertised.

The venue is a historic mansion with an Eiffel-style glass roof in central Paris, near the Grands Boulevards, Centre Pompidou and Drouot.
