The number one killer in the world is heart disease. It affects millions of people around the globe. The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (r) (CRF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to innovation in interventional cardiology, research and education. Since more than 30 year, we've helped doctors improve the quality of life and survival rates for patients with heart and vascular diseases. Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (r) (TCT(r), the premier conference in interventional cardiology, is our signature scientific meeting.
Our annual fundraiser, now in its 16th anniversary, has become an iconic event during the holiday season. It attracts hundreds of medical luminaries, high-ranking government officials, business leaders, and community members who are passionate about improving the treatment of patients with heart disease and vascular diseases. The funds raised by The Annual Pulse of the City Gala (r) will allow CRF to pursue innovative research areas, train tomorrow's physicians leaders, and educate the public and medical community about heart health. These funds will go towards the CRF(r), Fellowship Program, which is designed to develop the next generation in interventional cardiology.
