Caring Communities’ World of Possibilities Disabilities Expos bring people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, service providers and supporting agencies together in one venue to explore disability-related products, services, technology and resources.
Next edition (MD/DC & Northern Virginia / Nation’s Capital Region):Saturday, 17 April 2027, 11:00–15:00 at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, 7801 Alumni Drive, College Park, MD 20742.
The organizer lists more than 70 exhibitors covering assistive technology and adaptive devices, durable medical equipment, mobility products, wheelchair sales, parts, lifts, accessible vans and services, accessible housing resources, adaptive learning tools, disability law, nursing care, recreation and travel, adapted exercise equipment, personal care and incontinence products, and communication devices.
On-site support includes personal care assistance, educational forums and product demonstrations (including service and guide dogs), free emergency wheelchair repair and rentals from Stuart’s Medical and Sales, self-help and advocacy groups, artists and entrepreneurs, meet-and-greets, live entertainment in the Music Cafe, and activities for youth, adults and seniors.
